Log your day by just talking
Cadre connects to Grok, Claude and ChatGPT. Once it's connected, you can tell your assistant what you did today, and it logs it straight to your Cadre tracker -- no app to open, no form to fill in. A connector is what links your assistant to another app, the way a key links to a lock; you add one connector for Cadre, once, and your assistant can use it in every conversation after that.
You
Log my day: 22 calls, talked to 9 people, set 2 appointments and sent 5 handwritten cards.
Your assistant
Saved to Cadre. Updated totals for today:
- Calls: 22/20
- People talked to: 9/10
- Appointments set: 2/2
- Cards sent: 5/5
For the curious: this runs on MCP, an open standard assistants use to connect to outside apps. You don't need to know anything about it to use it.
Before you start
- •You need an active Cadre membership. A free account can't log or read your tracker this way.
- •Each assistant restricts custom connectors to certain plans -- check the note above its steps below.
- •Connectors are added on the assistant's website. Once it's added there, it works in its phone app too.
Set it up
Pick the assistant you use. After you paste in the address below, your assistant asks you to sign in with your Cadre login, then shows a screen titled "Connect [your assistant] to Cadre" with Allow and Deny buttons. It tells you which site you'll be sent back to. Choose Allow.
Available on every Grok plan. On a Business or Enterprise team, an admin may need to turn connectors on first.
- Go to grok.com/connectors.
- Click "New Connector."
- Choose "Custom."
- Paste in the connector address below, then finish connecting.

Your first message
Once it's connected, just say what you did -- "log my day: 10 calls and 2 appointments" works fine as a first message. The first time, if Cadre doesn't already know what timezone you're in, your assistant will ask. Answer with your city or timezone and it saves it, so it only asks once.
Things you can say
Logging your day
"Log my day: I made 22 calls, talked to 9 people, set 2 appointments, asked 4 people for referrals and sent 5 handwritten cards."
"Log 3 more calls."
Fixing a mistake
"Actually it was 6 calls today, not 5."
Catching up
"Yesterday I went to 2 appointments, log those."
Checking progress
"How am I doing this week?"
"What do I still need to do today to hit my goals?"
"Am I on pace for my sprint?"
A daily habit
"Every weekday at 5pm, ask me how my day went and log it to Cadre."
If your assistant supports scheduled tasks or shortcuts, save this one -- it will check in with you at the same time every weekday without you having to ask. Not every assistant supports this yet.
What it can and can't log
Your assistant can log any of your 12 tracker metrics, and read back today's, this week's or this sprint's numbers against your goals, plus your streak and whether you're on pace for your sprint. Here's how everyday phrases map to each metric:
- Calls -- "I called 20 people", "made 15 calls"
- People talked to -- "actually talked to 8 of them", "9 real conversations"
- Proactive points -- "asked for a referral", "asked for an appointment", "asked for an introduction", "asked for feedback"
- Appointments set -- "set 2 appointments", "booked a meeting for Thursday"
- Appointments attended -- "went to 2 appointments", "had my meeting today"
- Cards sent -- "sent 5 handwritten cards", "wrote 3 thank-you notes"
- Intros made -- "introduced two people I know", "made an introduction"
- Media sent -- "sent an email blast", "posted on social media"
- Grow your cadre -- "invited someone into my cadre", "invited 2 people to my networking group"
- Leads -- "got 3 new leads", "picked up a new opportunity"
- Gifts sent -- "sent a gift", "gave someone a book"
- Events attended -- "went to a networking event", "hosted an event"
A couple of rules it always follows: it only logs Monday through Friday, and never a date before your current sprint started or a date in the future.
Troubleshooting
I don't see Connectors
Make sure you're signed in on the assistant's website, not just its phone app -- connectors are added on the website first, and then work in the app too. If it's still missing, your plan may not include custom connectors; check the plan note above each app's steps.
It says my membership isn't active
You need an active Cadre membership to log or read your tracker through an assistant. Renew at app.cadreconcept.com/settings/billing, then try again.
It logged to the wrong number
Tell it the right number and it will fix the number you mean: "actually it was 6 calls today, not 5" replaces today's count. Telling it about the same thing twice in a row adds up instead, so "log 3 more calls" after an earlier message adds 3 rather than replacing anything.
How do I disconnect?
Disconnect from the assistant's own connector settings, not from Cadre -- the same screen where you added it.
